Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Xbox: Compare Prices

Start with the exact generation and platform edition, not just the Stealth 700 name. This family includes multiple wireless designs, and a PlayStation or PC edition should not be assumed to support Xbox wireless audio. Look for an explicit Xbox model designation in the description and photographs. Titles that mention Xbox, PlayStation and PC together can describe a legitimate multiplatform Xbox edition, but broad compatibility wording alone is not enough.

The Turtle Beach Stealth 700 Gen 3 Xbox model is particularly useful if you move between systems. Its CrossPlay setup includes two USB transmitters: one labelled Xbox and another labelled USB. These let you switch between connected systems rather than repeatedly moving a single transmitter. It also supports simultaneous wireless game audio and Bluetooth audio, useful for phone calls or music while playing.

Earlier generations remain worth comparing if you primarily play on one Xbox. The standard Gen 2 Xbox headset pairs directly through Xbox Wireless, whereas the Gen 2 MAX Xbox version uses a USB transmitter. That distinction matters when judging completeness: a missing transmitter can make a transmitter-based model unsuitable, but the standard Gen 2 Xbox does not require one for console pairing.

Compare offers within the same generation and condition before sorting everything by price. A used older headset and a new Gen 3 are not equivalent purchases. Open-box stock can have missing packaging or accessories, while refurbished stock should have a description of its testing and condition. Neither label guarantees a particular battery state, warranty or return arrangement; read the individual offer details.

For a Gen 3 Xbox purchase, check that both original transmitters are included and that the Xbox-labelled transmitter is visible or explicitly listed. Ask about the charging cable, microphone operation, ear-cushion wear, headband damage and whether both earcups work. For used units, battery runtime and reliable charging deserve particular attention. Avoid assuming that an inexpensive replacement dongle will work with any Stealth 700 generation.

Include shipping and any applicable taxes when comparing the final cost. Also check whether manufacturer warranty coverage is stated, excluded or left unclear; the listing sample includes an offer explicitly sold without it. A low asking price is less useful if essential hardware must be sourced separately. Where a title and condition field disagree, verify the details before ordering rather than treating the headline as definitive.

Gen 3 adds 60mm Eclipse Dual Drivers, advertised battery life of up to 80 hours, and Swarm II customization for EQ and assignable controls. Its flip-to-mute microphone includes AI-based noise reduction. These features can be useful, but microphone noise reduction is not active noise cancellation for the listener. Ear cushions provide passive isolation rather than electronically removing surrounding sound.

For a Stealth 700 versus Stealth 600 comparison, compare matching generations and platform editions. The Gen 3 Stealth 700's dual-transmitter switching and simultaneous Bluetooth mixing are meaningful reasons to choose it if you use multiple devices. If you only need console game audio, consider whether those extras justify the difference in current asking prices. Comfort is personal, so check adjustment, glasses clearance and the offer's return terms rather than relying on specifications alone.
