Used Xbox One S for Sale: Compare Prices

The used Xbox One S price depends on more than storage. A console-only listing may suit someone replacing a failed machine, while a first-time buyer usually needs a working controller, power cable and HDMI cable. Compare those essentials before paying extra for games, special finishes or additional controllers. Shipping charges and applicable taxes also affect the checkout total.

Current asking prices on this page span $63.74–$149.99, with a median of $100.00. These are listing prices, not confirmed sale values or a valuation of your own console. A cheaper offer can still cost more to get playing if it lacks accessories. Conversely, a larger bundle is only useful if you actually want the included games and equipment.

Read titles marked “READ,” “Read First” or “replacement console” carefully. These phrases do not necessarily mean the machine is faulty, but they can flag missing equipment, cosmetic issues or limitations hidden in the description. Listings identified as damaged or parts-only are excluded, yet a used condition label alone does not prove that every function has been tested.

The standard Xbox One S has a disc drive for compatible physical games and supported movie discs. The Xbox One S All-Digital Edition has no disc drive, so physical games included in a package would not be usable on that console. Check the actual console photos rather than relying solely on a copied product description or a model number.

A used Xbox One S 1TB offers more internal storage than an Xbox One S 500GB, but neither provides its entire advertised capacity for games because system software reserves space. Game installations and updates vary considerably in size. Compatible external USB storage can expand game storage, making a smaller internal drive practical if you already own a suitable external drive.

Separate internal capacity from included extras. A listing advertising a 500GB console plus a 1TB USB drive is not a console with a 1TB internal drive. Ask for a storage-settings photo when the title is inconsistent, including unusual capacity descriptions. Special editions may appeal to collectors, but their appearance should not outweigh working hardware and clearly described contents.

Xbox One S and Xbox Series S are different generations. The One S supports the Xbox One game library and selected backward-compatible titles; it does not run every game made for newer Xbox hardware. Check each must-play game’s supported consoles before buying.

Look for evidence that the console boots to the dashboard, displays correctly over HDMI, connects to a network and pairs with a controller. For a disc-equipped machine, ask whether it reads and installs a compatible game disc and ejects reliably. A console that powers on can still have a failing drive, damaged ports or overheating problems.

Inspect photos for cracked casing, obstructed vents, corrosion and damaged connectors. Cosmetic scratches are different from functional faults. Ask whether the controller has stick drift, sticking buttons or corrosion in its battery compartment. The Xbox One S uses an internal power supply, unlike the external power brick associated with the original Xbox One; verify that the appropriate mains cable is included.

Do not assign value to games described as installed on a seller’s account. Digital ownership generally stays with the purchasing account, and redeemed download codes are not reusable. Confirm the console has been reset and can complete setup with your own account. Finally, read the individual listing’s return terms and any stated warranty rather than assuming used and refurbished offers provide identical protection.
