Used Xbox One Consoles for Sale: Compare Prices

The cheapest Xbox One listing is not necessarily the cheapest usable setup. Start by separating console-only offers from packages with a controller, power equipment and HDMI cable. A replacement console can make sense if you already own compatible accessories. For a first purchase, missing equipment adds expense and makes an apparently cheap Xbox One harder to compare with a complete system.

Current asking prices on this page span $35.00–$149.99, with a median of $76.00. These are listing prices, not completed-sale values or guaranteed valuations. Compare the same model and storage capacity, then check shipping and applicable taxes before deciding which offer costs less overall.

An Xbox One bundle is useful only when its extras have value to you. Count working controllers and identify physical games rather than relying on a bundle photo. Do not assign value to a seller’s account, installed digital games or previously redeemed download codes. Confirm that every pictured accessory is explicitly included in the description.

The original Xbox One, often identified as model 1540, is the larger first-generation console and uses an external power supply. Check that the correct power brick and its mains cable are included. Xbox One S and Xbox One X have internal power supplies, but still need the appropriate power cable. A title saying “console only” should not be assumed to include any cables.

Xbox One S is a smaller redesign. Standard disc-equipped One S consoles can play compatible Xbox discs and Ultra HD Blu-ray movies; the One S All-Digital Edition has no disc drive. Xbox One X offers higher graphics performance, with enhancements depending on the game. Xbox One X and Xbox One S are not Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S, so verify the exact model before buying.

Choose between Xbox One 500GB and Xbox One 1TB listings based on your game library, not just the headline price. Usable space is lower than the advertised capacity, and games require installation space even when bought on disc. Compatible USB storage can expand game storage. Check the console’s settings or seller documentation when a title gives an unusual or inconsistent capacity.

Look for testing details that go beyond “powers on.” Useful checks include reaching the dashboard, connecting to a network, displaying a stable HDMI picture and reading a game disc on disc-equipped models. For included controllers, ask about stick drift, responsive buttons and corrosion in the battery compartment. Photos should show the actual console, ports and accessories rather than only stock images.

Read descriptions marked “READ” carefully. Cosmetic scratches may be acceptable, but excessive fan noise, shutdowns, damaged ports or an unreliable disc drive change the purchase into a repair risk. Filters cannot catch every fault or misleading condition label. Confirm whether returns are accepted, who pays return shipping and whether any warranty is explicitly offered. Used and refurbished are different listing conditions; this page targets used consoles, not products presumed to have undergone refurbishment.
