Thrustmaster eSwap X Pro: Compare Controller Prices

The Thrustmaster eSwap X Pro is a wired, officially licensed controller for Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One and Windows PC. Its modular layout is the main reason to consider it: the removable thumbstick and D-pad modules let you change the control arrangement or replace a worn component without replacing the whole gamepad. It is not a wireless controller, so allow for a cable between your seat and the console or computer.

Check the full model name in the description and photographs. The eSwap S Pro, eSwap XR Pro Forza edition and eSwap X2 are separate products, not simply different colors of the X Pro. Listings sometimes shorten or mix those names. A Forza-themed result should not automatically be treated as the standard X Pro, and features advertised for a newer Hall-effect model should not be assumed to apply to this one.

This comparison targets complete X Pro controllers. A color pack, replacement stick or fighting module can appear in the same search results while costing much less than a gamepad. Confirm that the photographed controller is actually included, and distinguish the modules needed for a complete control layout from optional spare modules.

Start with condition, then compare the delivered cost of otherwise similar packages. New, open-box, used and refurbished are distinct descriptions; an open box is not evidence of refurbishment, and a used controller is not necessarily tested. Read the seller's description for the actual contents and testing performed rather than relying only on the condition label.

For a used eSwap X Pro controller, look for explicit information about stick drift, centering, button response and trigger operation. Ask whether both sticks, the D-pad, rear buttons and wired connection have been tested. Clear photographs should show the module seats, cable connector and grips. Replaceable sticks are useful, but a faulty connector or damaged module socket is a different repair problem.

Check whether the connection cable and all standard control modules are included. Packages advertised with extra modules can be worthwhile if the spares are compatible and functional, but their presence alone does not establish better value. Controller-only listings may omit the cable or other original contents. Compare shipping charges, return eligibility and any stated warranty directly on the retailer's page before ordering; these terms can differ between individual offers.

The X Pro combines interchangeable controls with mechanical action buttons, physical trigger locks and four remappable rear buttons. Those features suit shoppers who want a customized layout and quicker access to frequently used inputs. They do not guarantee better competitive results: hand fit, button reach and comfort with a wired controller still matter.

ThrustmapperX provides configuration options such as button mapping, stick sensitivity, dead zones and vibration settings. Use the official support page for the exact ESWAP X PRO model when checking software, firmware and update instructions. The similarly named ESWAP PRO has different platform compatibility, so choosing a support download from the name alone can cause confusion.

For replacement sticks, grips or customization packs, check the manufacturer's explicit compatibility list. A listing that says only 'eSwap' or 'Xbox' is not enough to establish that a part fits the X Pro. Likewise, do not assume a newer Hall-effect stick or fighting module works with every eSwap generation. Confirm compatibility before valuing an accessory bundle or planning an upgrade.
